Description

A large organisation based in Salford require an experienced Payroll Administrator to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis.


Reporting to the Payroll Team Leader, you will join a team of 8, responsible for the timely and accurate processing of weekly and monthly payrolls.


Responsibilities

  • Setting up new starters and processing leavers
  • Calculation of hours, overtime and bonuses
  • Performing accurate processing for weekly and monthly payrolls within agreed time frames
  • Calculation of statutory payments and deductions
  • FPS and EPS submissions to HMRC
  • Pensions processing to NEST
  • Managing queries relating to pay

Requirements:


  • At least 1 year experience processing payroll
  • Good understanding of payroll legislation
  • Ability to manually calculate payslips
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good systems knowledge, including microsoft packages
