Swansea Bay University Health are seeking to recruit registered immunisers.We are looking for enthusiastic, proactive and motivated individuals with great communication and interpersonal skills to join our immunisation team.
You will need to have the ability to multitask, organise your own workload whilst remaining calm under pressure and enjoy a challenge.
You will have a caring and compassionate personality and want to make a positive difference.
You will work in a variety of different settings and will have the necessary skills and knowledge to have discussions with individuals and families on all matters regarding immunisations.
You will work in a variety of different setting, such as clinic settings, Immbulance, domiciliary immunisations, and secondary care for example.
You will need a back ground in immunisation work, awareness of the routine immunisation schedule and be able to work with the immunisation nurse facilitator and immunisation coordinators to answer complex immunisation queries.
As a team we will proactively improve immunisation uptake rates with our primary care colleagues, reduce the inequalities that currently exist in our uptake rates and react to any outbreaks of vaccine preventable diseases.
