Oxford Stadium has an opening for a Maintenance Track Operative.

As Maintenance Track Operative, you'll be part of a team responsible for carrying out grounds maintenance activities and assisting operations on site, ensuring that all work is carried out to the highest requirement and that a quality service is provided.

You'll also ensure that all Health & Safety regulations are adhered to, and equipment is kept in a safe working condition.

Familiar and comfortable with working in all weather conditions

Some duties are below

Assisting in maintaining the greyhound track and servicing the mechanical devices.

Clearing debris and removing weeds.

Erecting air fence panels and track covers

Maintaining surrounding areas using hand and power tools such as rakes & drills

Event clear up, i.e. ensuring customer area outside are kept to a high standard

This is a temp to perm position with an uplift in the hourly wage once the probationary period has been fulfilled.

We operate Monday to Saturday, days & evening, speedway events on Wednesday & Thursday nights ( March till October ).

Greyhound racing is currently Monday evenings, Tuesday daytime, Thursday daytime, Friday evening *& Saturday afternoon & evenings.
