Description

Responsibilities:

  • Build and dismantle scaffolding structures according to safety guidelines and specifications
  • Inspect scaffolding equipment for any defects or damage before use
  • Erect scaffolding systems to provide safe access and working platforms for construction projects
  • Ensure scaffolding is properly secured and stable to prevent accidents or collapses
  • Collaborate with team members to plan and execute scaffold construction projects
  • Follow blueprints, drawings, and instructions to assemble scaffolding components
  • Use power tools and hand tools to cut, shape, and fabricate scaffold materials
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Scaffold Builder or in a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction safety regulations and procedures
  • Proficient in using power tools and hand tools for scaffold assembly
  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and specifications
  • Skilled in painting, masonry, electrical, roofing, plumbing, carpentry, welding, and fabricating
  • Physically fit and able to lift heavy materials and work at heights
  • Excellent attention to detail and problemsolving skills

Job Type:
Temporary contract

Contract length: 6 months


Salary:
£24.00 per hour


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Day shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Scaffolding: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Driving Licence (preferred)

Ability to Commute:

  • Leeds, West Yorkshire (required)

Ability to Relocate:

  • Leeds,
