Our Client is a unique and ever-expanding leader in the supply of quality Fresh Fruit to customers in the UK workplace.

They offer an exciting opportunity to become part of the successful team that enable the timely delivery of Fresh Produce to their customers.

We require an Procurement Manager /Buyer to join the business and become an integral part of the successful, time-critical availability and supply of fresh product.

The position of Procurement Manager / Buyer will support and work closely with the Senior Procurement Manager to ensure stock information is up to date & accurate, supplier relations are maintained, prices are reviewed regularly, wastage is kept to a minimum & relevant information communicated, with a proactive approach to the demanding and fast paced environment.

The position is unique and offers the successful individual the opportunity to work with UK Fresh Produce importers, to compliment a hands-on approach at wholesale markets in London to build stock levels to achieve daily targets.

This is achieved by working from 5.30am to accommodate early visits to market.

We require;
Experience within Buying / Procurement, with the ability to work with a varied portfolio of customers
Fresh Produce knowledge & exposure would be highly advantageous, but fresh product considered
Confident to communicate at all levels, negotiating 'best' prices and achieving quality requirements
Strong IT skills with the ability to work with financial & stock data and reports

Location; South London
Salary; up to £48k + 7% Bonus (performance-related)
Hours; Monday - Friday, 5.30am pm

£47,000.00-£48,000.00 per year
