Materials Controller

- £20k - £22k per annum

Overtime available at 1.5x basic rate

Syntech Recruitment are actively recruiting for a Materials Controller for our aerospace OEM client based out near Gerrard's Cross.

Working within the stores environment, you will be tasked with preparing and cutting raw materials using bandsaws for usein the CNC Machine shop.

Materials Controller Duties:

Prepare and cut raw materials (Steel, Aluminium, Titanium etc) using Everising bandsaw for use on CNC Machines in the machine shop.
Using of forklift truck and pallet stacker
Undertaking basic self inspection of materials before and after cutting
Picking and packing materials as and when required
Using SAP system to validate batch numbers and material amounts
Follow company H&S procedures at all times

Materials Controller Profile:

Experience working with bandsaws is essential, ideally within an engineering environment
1+ years experience working within a stores or warehouse environment
Forklift license ideal but training is provided as long as a full driving license is held
ERP system experience, ideally with SAP but other computer systems would be acceptable
Basic education including Maths and English GCSE
