Role Summary:


We are looking for a Development delivery lead who can lead a mix-skill team of Developers, Technology leads, Scrum masters, and UX/UI designers in-house and working with our outsourcing partners in a matrix-managed technology environment.

You will build the function that delivers continuous strategic alignment against the business needs.


Responsible for leading LCCC through various transformational delivery products towards a digital-first philosophy and ultimately growth of our product and Tech services.

Working closely with Senior Managers and key stakeholders across the business to drive collaboration and communication between various teams.

Working with our Architecture, Infrastructure, Development and Data teams, and then being able to translate highly technical information to all levels across the business.

We need 5 years' experience managing development teams. You will be process-oriented and has vast experience with Cloud technologies. Project management practices are a must.


Key Responsibilities:


The key accountabilities of the role are outlined below, covering both the Low Carbon Contracts Company and Electricity Settlement Company.

However, this is an overview of the role and is not exhaustive.

  • Ensure ontime and accurate deliverables of all projects.
  • Ensure team(s) maintain focus on quality and continuous delivery.
  • Maintain reports, records, and documentation to reflect department activities.
  • Own the process and outcomes for resolving client issues.
  • Coordinate and lead annual review meetings and contribute to the quarterly prioritisation process.
  • Coach and manage delivery team members.
  • Maintain contact with clients at an executive level, focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship.
  • Assist in the monitoring and scheduling of daily activities of employees.
  • Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing deliverables.
  • Demonstrate appropriate judgment when utilizing internal business resources to solve client needs.
  • Ensure that the unit adheres to safety policies and procedures.
  • Follow quality service standards and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Track and escalate impediments, and manage risks and dependencies.
  • Conduct regular inventory reconciliation to ensure supplies meet production goals.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise:


  • Must have _
  • At least 5 years' experience managing one or more development teams.
  • Software Engineering practices as well as indepth knowledge of the SDLC.
  • Knowledge of programming languages (i.e. Python, Java, React, etc.) and infrastructure technologies (Azure, AWS, Terraform, etc).
  • Project management experience including SCRUM and Kanban frameworks.
  • Understanding of UX/UI practices and tools.
  • Demonstrated leadership and problemsolving skills.
  • Prior consulting experience.
  • Strict attention to detail and collaboration capabilities.
  • Demonstrated time management and prioritization skills with an eye for continuous improvement.
  • Confidently makes decisions.
  • Has an eye for closure and renewal needs and methodologies.
