The Business
The Company is part of a Group of Companies specialising in all aspects of property purchase & management. They have offices based in Burnley and in Middlesbrough and manage a large portfolio of properties in both regions.


The role:


  • Carry out roofing repairs and maintenance works
  • Liaise with tenants and carry out inspections
  • Day to day you will be required to complete smaller repairs to larger instalments on domestic roofs
  • Able to repair a range of profiled roofing and cladding systems.
  • Able to repair a range of composite panel roof & wall cladding systems.
  • Able to inspect composite domestic and residential type roofs for leaks.
  • Can complete all aspects of roofing
  • Remove old roofs, installs roof insulation, and performs repairs as indicated to leaking roofs. Slate, Tile, Gutter & Facia works
  • Ensure that Planned Preventative Maintenance is carried out in line with task schedules
  • Attend site and carry out reactive repairs as instructed by administration team.
  • Any other reasonable duty

  • Supervise subcontractors
  • Ensure all trades have a high standard of work
  • Responsible for scheduling and coordinating work on site.
  • Ensuring work is safely on time and within budget
  • Managing equipment and materials required
  • Day to day reactive maintenance repairs within occupied domestic houses in the social housing sector. You will take ownership of work, aiming for 'First time Fix' on all jobs whilst remaining within budget and time parameters. You will also operate within company Health and Safety guidelines and remain up to date with technical and legal requirements of your skill areas.


We are looking for someone who can show initiative, can communicate well with colleagues and customers and completes jobs to a good standard.

This is the ideal position for someone who has been self-employed now looking for a full-time permanent role. The individual must be proactive and able to identify issues quickly and remedy effectively.
