Facilities Assistant:

We are looking for a Facilities Assistant to join our Estates team.

As a Facilities Assistant you will have day to day contact with staff, students and visitors across a range of facilities related areas.

Your role will be to undertake a number of tasks and to answer queries - these include recycling, waste management, storage, postal services, furniture moves and set ups, system testing, parking, security, minor maintenance and campus standards.

You will carry out these duties and other tasks related to the operation and security of University premises.

You will be part of a team of FM staff, working within a shift pattern that operates on a 3 week cycle that includes working one Saturday in 3 and attracts a 10% shift allowance.

The successful applicant should have experience of working in a customer service environment, ideally with some facilities or premises experience.

Please note that there is a driving element to this role so a valid driving licence is essential.
