Description

We have partnered with a Luxury Womenswear Designer, who are known for their Fresh, clean and innovative silhouettes. The brand requires a Creative Manual & Gerber Pattern Cutter.

You will be working on collections and reporting directly to the Head of Atelier.

Responsibilities include:

Working closely with the Design team, and Atelier team.
Creating first patterns from sketches and images.
Creating accurate toiles
Creating detailed pattern spec sheets
Attending fit sessions with the team to problem solve and find design and fit solutions.
Making pattern amendments from fit meetings
Attending production fit meetings, altering patterns accordingly and following them through to preproduction stage
Following patterns through to sealing stage and preparing them for production and show.

Key Skills:

Extensive and credible pattern cutting experience within Luxury Designers
Excellent understanding of detail, shape and proportion
Ability to translate images, sketches, and ideas confidently and creatively into accurate patterns
Basic grading knowledge
Proficient to advanced use of Gerber.
Team Player
Passion and for Pattern, design and garment construction.
