SEN Teacher - West Birmingham - MPS- UPS3 + SEN Allowance

Do you have a passion for teaching children with complex learning needs? This fantastic SEN school is looking to add an experienced SEN Teacher to the team on either a temporary or permanent basis.

This role requires a QTS or QTLS SEN Techer who has previousexperience working with complex needs, Autism and Non-verbal pupils.

Leadership at this school are outstanding and there is very little staff turnover. The school has outstanding facilities and provides excellent training for teaching and support staff.

As an SEN Teacher you will be teaching small classes of Key Stage 3 children with the support of a fantastic Teaching Assistant This role requires aqualified Teacher who has experience working within a Special Educational Needs School.


Job Role:

  • Teaching a small class of Key Stage 3 Students with Special Educational Needs
  • Planning and delivering lessons to meet the need of individual students
  • Liaising with the SENCO and TA's to ensure children are supported appropriately
  • Making school a nurturing, welcoming and safe place for students
  • Helping young people to break down academic and social barriers
