Farm Labourer/ Tractor Operator - Bridgend UK - Competitive Salary (DOE)
This established mixed use Organic family farm is seeking to a Farm Labourer / Tractor Operator. An interest / experience with livestock (Cattle and Sheep) would be an advantage.
This is a fantastic opportunity, based in a beautiful part of the UK.
- Previous experience in agriculture.
- A competent and experienced machinery operator (desirable)
- A telehandler operator certificate (desirable)
- Full driving license is essential
- A motivated selfstarter
- Work equally well alone, or as part of a team
- A positive and conscientious attitude to work and people and time keeping
- An interest in agriculture and farming
- Ability to learn new practical skills
- Good people skills
- Ability to work on own initiative
- Ability to work flexible hours to suit workload, weekend work required throughout the year.
- Own transport
- Driving licence (essential)
- Relevant qualification (not essential)
- Caring for livestock, including the cleaning, feeding, and medication of cattle and sheep; checking animals for sickness and other disorders
- Operating tractors and tractordrawn machinery.
- To assist with site maintenance
The Salary:
Competitive salary (depending on experience)
