Production Associate

Reports To:
Production Manager

The Production Associate is responsible for the production of all AG Industries Ltd stone products.

This position will work closely with the Production Manager to ensure that all orders are fulfilled and quality control is maintained.

This is a predominantly outdoors role and involves the use of heavy lifting machinery and industrial saws.

As an Operations Operative you will be required to support all aspects of operations.

The team will rely on you to carry out various crucial tasks, from processing and packaging orders to working with other departments within the business.

High energy and commitment are essential. Team working, multi-tasking, creating solutions and being proactive are key to this role

The goal is to ensure operations runs smoothly and problem-free.


Essential Functions:


  • Ensure that orders are filled accurately, with a high level of quality, and on time.
  • Ensure H&S compliance
  • Produce all AG Industries Ltd products in compliance with AG Industries Ltd policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean work area and comply with all company safety procedures.
  • Work closely with the Production Supervisor to ensure that production goals are being met.
  • Communicate any issues or problems to the Production Manager.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organised work area.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Fulfil order processing tasks to a high standard, efficiently and effectively
  • Assist with operations planning where required
  • Keep operations areas, machinery and tools clean and tidy
  • Suggest creative or practical changes to help improve the operation process
  • Help manage the operation schedule to ensure maximum time management
  • To perform regular maintenance and checks on machinery, including oiling/greasing etc and update maintenance reports accordingly; reporting any faults etc to the Manager
  • Keep 'break area' clean and tidy
  • The above list is not exhaustive, and you may be required to undertake other duties in line with business requirements, at the request of Management.

Requirements:


  • Must be able to lift up to 25 kg, stand for long periods of time and work in a warehouse / production environment
  • Must have previous experience of cutting stone with bench saws / cropping stone / hand working stone etc

Pay:
£13.00-£15.20 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
