Description Overview
We currently have 2 fantastic opportunities for Planning Co-Ordinator's for a Manufacturing company in North Devon.
1 full time permanent position and another 12 month fixed term contract.

  • To be the main point of contact for market planning covering all intracompany business going from site into the international markets. Internally this position will interact primarily with BRTN Planning, Quality, Operations and Distribution but may needto liaise with additional departments to clarify product availability.
  • You will be the point of contact for all new and existing product changes and availability covered within standard planning process. This coordination role will cover all details around orders once the initial despatch date is confirmed.
  • You will liaise with Customer Service to amend all Intercompany orders, issue weekly an updated Open Order Review so the Markets are always aware of the latest availability dates including delays and specific issues impacting stock availability.
  • In addition, you will be responsible for maintaining specific Master Data on Intercompany SKU's, coordinating with QP's to get approval for all distribution warehouses, the Monthly collating of the forecast for review and loading into SAP and learning planningfunction to cover as necessary.
  • Manage and develop relationships with markets to maximise opportunities which will benefit both parties.
  • This coordination role will work closely with the PLM team to set up progress and administer all relevant regulatory, SAP and all other associated requirements to support launching and amending product.

Scope of the Role:

  • Ensure any change requests affecting all Intracompany orders or SKUs are actioned promptly.
  • Work with the Master Schedulers and the Markets regarding forecasts including accuracy and amendments.
  • Work with Customer Service to insure system stay aligned regarding delivery dates and quantities
  • Work with the Master Schedulers and the Markets to confirm initial deliver / despatch dates.
  • Cover all aspects of planning to act as cover as necessary
  • Annually maintain Customer accounts
  • Create and populate the Open Order Review (OOR) weekly and distribute
  • Prepare weekly the SPOT and Contract Review Report.
  • Enter new sales orders as received from markets
  • Meet weekly with the OPI Planning team to review the OOR
  • Dealing with residual inventory, advising of quantities, cost etc and obtaining a PO/cross charge and liaising with finance to raise invoice.
  • Support Markets with all requirements for making changes to existing or launching new products, ensuring all impacted departments are fully aware of pending changes.
  • Monitor project progress through Stage Gate
  • Set up and maintain transfer prices in conjunction with corporate tax department
  • Set up delivery address and obtain approval from QPs as to registration of specified Whse
  • Raise artwork notification forms, monitor artwork availability and manage the interaction with the Artwork process in line with Customer's requirements to support the project team.

Experience Required:

  • Degree / Level 6 qualification or equivalent experience
  • Previous Planning experience essential
  • Customer focussed, and able to work well with key stakeholders across the business
  • Adaptable and able to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Attention to detail
  • Disciplined selfstarter able to work without supervision
  • Cando attitude and motivated to learn
  • SAP knowledge desirable
  • Computer literate with strong excel, powerpoint and visio skills
  • Knowledge of European language
  • French, German or Dutch would be considered an advantage
