Animal Care Assistant_

Are you passionate about working with and caring for a variety of rescued animals in a Sanctuary environment?

If you have experience of caring for horses and/or larger animals then this could be the perfect job for you.

Animal Care Assistant position
The position is to work on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10 am to 2pm (20 hours)

As an Animal Care Assistant you will carry out all husbandry tasks including the mucking out of stables and pens, dedunging fields, moving the animals between their stables and fields and cleaning and replenishing water containers and troughs.

You will work closely with the other Animal Care Assistants and the Team Leader to ensure that all work is undertaken in a safe, timely and efficient way in line with the set policies and procedures.

Experience of working with horses and/or other large animals is essential.
