Five Education is supporting a primary school in the Northern Bath area, and we are looking for an individual with excellent communication skills, that can embrace their creative side, to work as an SEN Teaching Assistant.
Working predominantly as a one-to-oneTeaching Assistant, you'll working with a child with Social, Emotional and Mental Health Trauma.As this child has a wonderfully creative side, we believe someone that embraces their creativity will thrive in this role.
Responsibilities and Duties:
Supporting your student(s) in classroom activities
An interest in Art, Creative Writing and or Music
Assisting SEN student(s) during their break and lunchtime
Assist in developing students' emotional understanding
Providing alternative methods of engaging dis-regulated students by relating content their individual likes
Make learning fun, and enjoy yourself The best way to connect with students is by displaying an upbeat positive approach to learning
Essential Criteria:
2-years worth of references (education or employment)
Right to work / valid passport / relevant police check if you have lived or worked outside of the UK in the last 5 years
Willing to work between 08:30 - 15:30 and 2 to 5 days a week
