Our team works with clients to create content that will inspire, inform, and motivate readers deepening relationships and strengthening communities.

Our editorial and design teams are made up of creative, resourceful, and committed people who enjoy what they do.


Overview:

We are looking for a Digital Marketing Apprentice to join our marketing team. The apprentice will work with our content marketing team helping to deliver work on behalf of our clients.


Salary:

£20,500 per annum.


Duties:


  • Building content in collaboration with our editorial and design teams
  • Sharing and amplifying content on social channels
  • Uploading online content to CMSs
  • Creating digital editions of our print magazines
  • Ensuring that work is produced on time and to the highest standards
  • Understanding what we're trying to achieve with each piece of content
  • Responsible for running variety of digital campaigns, including social media, website traffic, SEO, website content creation/updating, scheduling
  • Alongside manager, exposure to a variety of analytics tools including Google Analytics 4 and Looker Studio
  • Point of contact for online and social media enquiries

Desirable skills:


  • An enthusiasm for good content
  • Curiosity about digital marketing and the tools that we can use
  • An affinity for software platforms such as Mail Chimp and WordPress
  • Selfmotivated with good attention to detail
  • Good sense of humour and the ability to put people at ease
  • Organised and enthusiastic
  • An enquiring and creative mind

This will also require:


  • Troubleshooting. We may well sit in silence for minutes at a time trying to figure something out. And that's fine, but always speak up as no idea is a bad idea.
  • Using the right technology in the right way. If you're familiar with WordPress, some of the major ESPs such as Mail Chimp and InDesign, then great But you'll receive training and guidance on what is required if not.
  • Using the skills around you. You won't know all the answers, and you won't know how to approach every situation. The team around you are there so we can all play our roles and make things happen.
  • Being willing and proactive. It's a cliché, but a 'cando approach' is what's needed here. How can you make it happen? Our clients look to us to help them to make it happen.

Entry requirements:


  • GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3+ (D or above)
You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

Future prospects:


Once you have successfully completed the apprenticeship, you will have the opportunity to gain a full-time role with the Company.

QA's apprenticeships are funded by the Education & Skills Funding Agency (ESFA), an executive agency of the Department for Education.

To be eligible for a Government funded apprenticeship you must have lived in the UK or European Economic Area (EEA) for the last 3 consecutive years.
