Welder Fabricator (Barking)
Join a Leading UK Recycling and Waste Management Company as a Welder Fabricator


Our client is a top player in the UK's recycling and waste management industry (heavy engineering), providing sustainable and innovative solutions to their customers.

With a diverse range of services and state-of-the-art facilities, they cater to various industries and clients, effectively managing and processing recyclable materials.


Working hours: 7:00 - 17:00 Monday to Friday + one in two Saturdays

Responsibilities

  • Perform highquality welding and fabrication work on a variety of metal materials, including ferrous and nonferrous metals.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications to accurately produce metal components and structures.
  • Operate welding equipment and machinery safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect and assess the quality of finished products to ensure they meet industry standards and client requirements.
  • Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to support the fabrication process and contribute to project success.
  • Adhere to health and safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements:


  • Proven experience as a Welder Fabricator in the heavy engineering or metal fabrication industry preferred
  • Proficiency in various welding techniques, such as STICK, MIG and TIG.
  • Ability to work with different types of metals, including ferrous and nonferrous materials.
  • Strong understanding of engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Familiarity with welding equipment and tools.
  • Attention to detail and precision in workmanship.
  • Commitment to safety protocols and quality standards.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
