Tate recruitment are delighted to be recruiting for one of the UK's largest retail stores. It is known for its wide range of designer brands as well as its luxury goods. We are currently recruiting for a Planning Assistant to support onsite based in London.


Purpose:

The Planning Assistant role within Inventory Planning supports the team in core responsibilities across inventory planning & reporting.

This role will leverage data available centrally as well as coordinate with our regional and divisional partners to drive analysis which supports key business objectives & decisions.


This role will partner closely with Merchandising, Central Outlet team, Central Planning team, Regional Planning team, Merch Planning Operations, Supply Chain, Finance teams.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the consolidation of the Global OTB by Channel.
  • Assist in the provision of tools/templates of the Global OTB.
  • Responsible for building & maintaining Excel templates.
  • Create adhoc analysis to highlight key risks & opportunities to the company.
  • Create and maintain Option Planning Templates for Commercial Planning & Merchandising.
  • Administer Linked Lines and Data management.
  • Support with files and communication to manage global inventory rebalances when required.
  • Create analysis to highlight key risks & opportunities to the company when required.
  • Support in maintaining the Global Delist files which provide an accurate view of product life cycle for all mainline products and their exit routes when required.
  • Global Full price and Net sales, AUR, Full Price sellthru (Collections & Carry Forward), Net Margins.

Experience:
  • Excellent / advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Highly analytical, organised, and detailoriented.
  • Driven and Ambitious, with an aptitude to work in a fastpaced environment.
  • Problem solver, with an ability to drive results despite ambiguity and obstacles.
  • Ability to provide both quantitative and qualitative analysis of data.
  • A team player with a strong customer service orientation.
  • Experience with SAP / Business Objects would be advantageous.
