Key Responsibilities of the Role:

To Maintain and repair HGV's including trailers in accordance with the manufacturer guidelines and supporting Company Policies.


Ensure vehicles are maintained above the minimum standards required by the DVSA between scheduled service/inspection dates to support existing third-party servicing arrangements.

Provide standby and out of hours callout cover when required

Ensure vehicles are maintained in line with the service planner and company policies

Ensure Health & Safety compliance at all times


Technical Skills:

Experienced mechanic (Level 3 qualified)

Be familiar with modern fault code reader diagnostic systems

Have a wide range knowledge of light vehicles to HGV chassis manufacturers and specialist equipment mounted on vehicles, plant and other specialist equipment

Hold a Category CE driving licence


Skills Required:


  • Ability to work unsupervised
  • High standard of work
  • Work well within a team as well as the ability to use own initiative
  • Be flexible around working hours and days
  • Complete tasks to specified timescales
  • Be organised with daytoday paperwork (eg job sheets and parts ordering)
  • Hold relevant licences to drive or test vehicles and equipment

Pay:
£45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
