We are looking to recruit highly motivated and experienced practitioners to join the new Early Start SEND Inclusion Team.

The inclusion team works within the wider multi-disciplinary Early Start Ealing Service, alongside health practitioners, social care workers, family outreach workers, early years providers, community nursing and more.


The team supports early identification and appropriate interventions that enable the successful inclusion and participation of children with additional needs and disabilities across early years services.


You must have worked with children with a range of needs; including complex needs and be dedicated, passionate and committed to achieving the very highest standard of practice.

You should also have a sound knowledge and understanding of the principles of inclusion and the ability to motivate and inspire service providers and others to develop their inclusive practices through a range of strategies when supporting children's experiences starting within the home, right through to engagement with services for both mainstream and specialist provision.

In addition, you should have sound knowledge of child development, developmental milestones and the Early Years Foundation Stage. And excellent communication skills to enable effective teamwork within a multi-disciplinary team, with families and early years providers.


We are looking for individuals who are able to see the possibilities for all children and have the energy and enthusiasm to inspire and motivate every family and child to reach their potential.


You must have substantive post qualifying experience in an early years related qualification, minimum level 3 and have had substantial experience of working with children with additional needs in a practical way and be able to demonstrate this.


This role is deemed customer facing and as such you must have a command of spoken English which is sufficient to enable you to effectively perform the role.

This requirement relates to Part 7 of the Immigration Act 2016.
