Client Executive - Drinks Team

Role Description


We are looking for a confident, engaging and dedicated individual to join our growing team and to deliver best in class servicing to some of the Drinks teams key growth accounts, with plenty of opportunities to embed yourself within our clients' businesses.

Your role will help to deliver our mission to inspire and challenge our clients with outstanding insights to help shape the future Drinks market in operating as the key day to day contact for several of our blue-chip world-class clients.

You will have the opportunity to partner with, recommend strategies for and drive growth across a portfolio of exciting and varied brands operating across multiple fascinating categories including Freixenet (wine), Disaronno (Spirits), Brown Forman (Spirits), Thatchers (Cider) and Eketerra (Hot Bevs).


Roles in the Drinks team are in high demand driven by having some of the strongest client relationships in the business evidenced by consistently strong and better than average satisfaction scores, an engaged driven and enthusiastic team of market experts working in a fascinating sector and consistent commercial growth.


We have a strong reputation for delivering useful insights in a clear and impactful way to our clients - part of your role will involve improving deliverables and identifying strategies to enhance our perspective on the market; both of which are key elements to ensuring 100% client retention and future contracted revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clients: Act as the key day to day contact across a varied portfolio of accounts including large & strategically important Alcohol producers, blue chip brands and leading Hot Beverage Manufacturers. Your role would involve taking briefs and delivering insights that drive action, building strong relationships across differing functions and levels of seniority, spotting opportunities, building market expertise and driving commercial growth.
  • Insight: Producing and communicating high quality insight. Deliver best in class presentations to multilevel audiences potentially integrating Purchase, Out of Home and Alcovision usage data combined with market knowledge to drive true consumer insight.
  • Team: Opportunity to provide defined support to more junior early career starters with a view to developing mentoring skills. Plenty of development opportunities to progress upwards within a large team or seek to broaden skills across the other parts of the wider lifestyle team.
  • Revenue: Responsibility for managing the pipeline for your account portfolio, generating leads, spotting opportunities, and converting sales Opportunity to support the New Business team in prospecting and delivering commissioned analyses.
  • Service impact: You will be joining an ambitious team and given the opportunity to get involved in various workstreams across Drinks, such as thought leadership, Expert Solution innovation, PR and L&D programmes within the team
Person Specification

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to put together insightful and impactful presentations, thoughtfully combine data sources and support others in doing so.
  • Able to build and maintain fantastic client relationships, inspiring trust and confidence
  • Genuine enthusiasm and interest in Drinks markets (our clients range from Soft drinks, Hot Drinks, Beer, Cider, Spirits and Wine brands. what's not to like)
  • Confident and experienced presenter able to present to a range of audiences
  • A commercial mind set ability to spot sales opportunities, propose solutions and convert them
  • Excellent team player who cares about maintaining and building a best in class working culture
