Teaching Assistants to join our team in Southampton, Hampshire.

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a crucial role in supporting students aged 5-11 or 11-16 years, ensuring they thrive academically and emotionally.

Pay Rate: £83 - £90 per day

Working Hours: Monday to Friday (8.30am - 3.30pm)


Responsibilities:
As a Teaching Assistant working with students who have Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), you will:


  • Provide Individualized Support: Work closely with teachers to create a nurturing and inclusive classroom environment. Tailor your support to meet the unique needs of each student, whether it's assisting with reading, numeracy, or social skills development.

Promote Inclusion: Champion diversity and ensure that all students, regardless of their abilities, feel valued and included. Collaborate with other staff members to adapt teaching materials and activities.

Facilitate Learning: Reinforce learning objectives, help students stay engaged, and celebrate their achievements. Whether it's one-on-one or small group sessions, your positive attitude will inspire confidence.

Monitor Progress: Keep track of student progress, noting areas for improvement and celebrating milestones. Communicate effectively with teachers and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.


Qualifications and Attributes:

Experience: Previous experience in childcare, education, health, or social care is advantageous.

Reliability: Punctuality and reliability are essential traits for this role.
