Teaching Assistant / Mainstream School in Islington with Clear Routes of Progression

A Primary School based in the London Borough of Islington is looking for
2 x Teaching Assistants for a
December 2023/January 2024 start.

This role will allow successful individuals access to expert training, mentorship & experience.

The successful individual for the role of a Teaching Assistant
must be dedicated, proactive, ambitious & have a willingness to learn.

This is a non-negotiable, especially when it comes to working with the future generation. Prior experience would be ideal but not essential, as long as you hold a strong academic background (e.g. A-levels, GCSE, Degree, BTEC).

Based in Islington
Ease of access via public transport (train or bus)
Opportunity open to individuals based in surrounding boroughs
Camden, Haringey, Hackney, Westminster

The Teaching Assistant will be paid approx
£85 - £103 per week, through PAYE.

The range is given to accommodate those with different levels of experience & qualifications, as well as performance on interview day.

This Teaching Assistant role is a
long-term, term-time contract. The successful individual will have access to
Teacher Training QTS, based on performance, to become a
Primary Teacher.
