Head of HR Information Systems, Data and Management Information

Liverpool, 1-2 days on site

£56,592 - £69,564 per annum

Full Time, Permanent
Supporting a key client to recruit a Head of HRIS specialist to transform and strategically improve upon current processes.

Directly reporting to the Deputy Director of HR, this role leads our HR Systems, Management Information (MI) and Process Improvementteams.

The teams have responsibility for the management and development of our HR systems and processes, and provide management information and data analysis to our University leaders and managers.


Responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Lead the HR Systems, Process Improvement and MI teams ensuring the delivery of an excellent service that contributes to the achievement of the HR Strategy
  • Shape and implement an HR Systems and Data Strategy articulated into a clear and transparent framework that encompasses continuous improvement and operational efficiency
  • Enable the proactive delivery of meaningful HR analytics that influence workforce planning and decision making across the University
  • Ensure the provision of fit for purpose, reliable HR Systems and Processes, with robust processes for system failures
  • Act as HR System, Process and HR data owner. Govern and uphold the security and access protocols for the HR Systems, and ensure compliance with GDPR data policies, Privacy Statements and IT security standards.
  • Accountability for the delivery of timely and accurate statutory submissions (including, but not limited to, the annual HESA (Higher Education Statistics Agency) return)

Duties:


  • Develop and deliver a clear and transparent operating framework for HR Systems, Processes and Data that will influence and support the work of the HR department
  • Contribute to the development of the HR Strategy, specifically shaping the HR Systems, Processes and Data elements of this strategy
  • Proactively champion the services provided by the HR Systems, Processes and MI teams with peers across the University
  • On an annual basis, refresh the 5year HRIS budget, inputting to the University's IT Service planning process
  • Manage, inspire and empower the HR Systems, Processes and MI teams, encouraging a culture of continuous improvement and personal development
