Order Processor/Estimator
An exciting opportunity for a
Processor/Estimator to join the team with our client based in Gloucester.

Gloucester

Permanent

Full-time hours (Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm)

On site parking, free hot and cold drinks

20 days holiday plus bank holidays.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsible to the Sales Office Supervisor.
Processing of all orders adhering to information provided in the customers order, site survey or other amplifying information provided in the documentation for both domestic, commercial and supply only orders.
Liaising with relevant company departments, suppliers, customers and/or other interested parties to ensure accurate documentation is produced.
Producing Order Acknowledgments with delivery dates directed by the Commercial Manager.
Preparing and issuing of materials purchase order with relevant suppliers and checking their acknowledgements match requirements.
Ensuring all interested parties are alerted and kept informed of shortcomings or potential hazards, related to the order and/or supply of materials.
Where practical, ensure all paperwork is checked and verified and processing databases are kept up to date.
To be part of a close knit team, with a proactive approach and the ability to work under own initiative.
To carry out other duties within reason as required by the Commercial Manager.
Adhere to site and company health and safety regulations and reporting any indiscretions to senior or line management.

Requirements:

Strong IT, Maths, and Written, Verbal Communication skills.
Strong Customer Service skills.
Ability to read and understand technical drawings ideal, however training will be provided.
Flexibility with the desire to work overtime.
Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage own work load.
The ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
Keen eye for accuracy and attention to detail.
