About The Role

We are currently recruiting for a Powered Pallet Truck Operative at our potato packing site in Boston, Lincolnshire.

Reporting to the Production Shift Management team you will move packed stock and equipment to and from the production lines in the main packhouse using a Powered/Ride On Pallet Truck.

Other duties may involve - on occasion - assisting on packing lines, hygiene tasks or any other general packhouse work as instructed.

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

Expected Start Date:
Immediate.

Hours of work:
Sunday to Thursday fixed shift - 6.00pm to 2.30am.

SALARY
£10.63 p/h plus a 50p per hour Backshift bonus for all completed hours of work.

Our story began in 1948, when Albert Bartlett started our family tradition of selling good-quality produce by setting up a beetroot-boiling operation in Coatbridge, Scotland.

Nine years later, Albert's experience and expertise helped him grow the business, and along with his two sons, Jimmy and Alex, he found a new home for their flourishing company in Airdrie, Scotland.

On that very same site, we made history when we became the first factory in Britain to pre-pack carrots in a plastic bag.
