Description

The role:

  • Manage Accounts Payable and Treasury staff
  • Month end process and reporting
  • Balance Sheet reconciliations
  • VAT Returns
  • Cost analysis reviewing YTD, budget and prior year
  • Maintaining finance processes
  • Review processes for improvement
  • Costs analysis such as Advertising and Promotion and liaising with the department heads
  • Assist in annual budget/forecasting and meet strict budget deadlines
  • Liaise with external auditors
  • New processes to drive efficiency such as ad hoc projects to improve processes
  • Ad hoc duties

The person:

  • Proactive and highly organised
  • Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office, with solid Excel ability and ideally SAP)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
  • Selfmotivated and driven to meet challenges.
  • Able to prioritise and work under own initiative
  • Newly Qualified in ACCA or CIMA
  • Experience working in finance for 34 years
  • Driving Licence with access to a car

The package:

  • Full Time
  • Mon-Fri 37.5 hour week
  • Salary £45,000£50,000
  • Auto enrolment Pension
