Description
The role:
- Manage Accounts Payable and Treasury staff
- Month end process and reporting
- Balance Sheet reconciliations
- VAT Returns
- Cost analysis reviewing YTD, budget and prior year
- Maintaining finance processes
- Review processes for improvement
- Costs analysis such as Advertising and Promotion and liaising with the department heads
- Assist in annual budget/forecasting and meet strict budget deadlines
- Liaise with external auditors
- New processes to drive efficiency such as ad hoc projects to improve processes
- Ad hoc duties
The person:
- Proactive and highly organised
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Office, with solid Excel ability and ideally SAP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy
- Selfmotivated and driven to meet challenges.
- Able to prioritise and work under own initiative
- Newly Qualified in ACCA or CIMA
- Experience working in finance for 34 years
- Driving Licence with access to a car
The package:
- Full Time
- Mon-Fri 37.5 hour week
- Salary £45,000£50,000
- Auto enrolment Pension
