As part of the Hypermotive Operations team, the Accounts Administrator will report to the Finance Manager and support them in the day-to-day processing and management of all supplier and customer accounts activities.

Your responsibilities within this role include, but are not limited to:

  • Prepare and reconcile supplier invoices to supporting documents / databases
  • Process purchase invoices onto Accounts system against correct nominal ledgers
  • Monthly supplier statement reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly payment run for approval
  • Monthly credit card statement processing
  • Prepare and reconcile customer invoices for approval
  • Support customer / internal Accounts queries
  • Maintain customer and supplier records
  • Update inhouse databases and spreadsheets
  • Basic office tasks including filing, data entry, archiving etc
  • Working with the wider Operations team and assisting in other office duties when required


You will work closely with all areas of the business including the Commercial, Engineering, Manufacturing teams to ensure accurate and timely processing and management of Accounts information in accordance with our internal processes and systems.

This is a part-time role with negotiable hours, a minimum of 10 hours a week required.


Education and Skills Requirements:

5+ GCSEs including Maths and English


Skills & Experience Required:


  • Experience working in a similar role
  • Good computer skills including Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Excellent organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Able to multitask and work well under pressure to meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy

Skills preferred:


  • Experience of using Sage 50 Accounts desirable
