What you'll be doing

  • Support the force with the transition into the Modern Desktop which comprises Windows Enterprise and Microsoft 365 clients (Office 365 Pro Plus) managed by Modern IT using modern System Centre Configuration Manager, Intune and Azure AD through the 'asaservice' model.
  • Resolving highly complex business issues, you will implement your expert knowledge of architecting workplace solutions. You will investigate, design and deliver technical solutions, which will include the ongoing transition into the Modern Desktop and testing of Workplace Services (Desktop Management) technologies, actively working to identify repeatable manual tasks which can be automated.
- collaborate closely with internal colleagues, external suppliers, and security experts, developing new concepts and providing proactive solutions and resolutions. As a senior member of the IS Team, you'll also represent the department at regional forums and at external meetings.


The must haves

  • Uptodate knowledge of modern workplace technology products, including Microsoft 365 and Microsoft Enterprise licenses.
  • Previous working experience in the diagnosis and rectification of complex faults with hardware and software systems.

Please note the following

  • Salary £39,036 £50,10
  • We are passionate about your development; a career grade scheme is therefore in place to support progression within this role. The initial salary/grade offered will be dependent on qualification level and experience upon appointment.


For part time hours the salary will be calculated on a pro-rata basis, this is based on the number of hours for the vacancy.
