Job Description:


Main responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the implementation of the maintenance programs for our hotel
  • Responsible for the reactive and preventive maintenance of the Hotel sit, to ensure it remains a functional, pleasant and safe environment for all employees, guests and visitors
  • Manage maintenance projects and work in accordance with Accor's quality requirements
  • Perform effective diagnosis of breakdowns and organise a timely repair of equipment
  • Perform scheduled planned preventative maintenance to minimise unplanned downtime of equipment and rooms
  • Documents breakdowns, identifying root cause and bring remedial actions to help prevent recurring issues
  • Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health ans safety as well environmental regulations and procedures
  • Undertake risk assessments of processes and tasks as needed and devise and implement safe systems of working to ensure the health and safety of staff, guests and visitors
  • Organise and supervise team members in their day to day task, providing instructions and support, if needed
  • Document and prepare daily progress reports and maintenance logs
  • Work with GM and Maintenance Manager to elaborate maintenance budget and ensure compliance of our hotel
  • Liaise and communicate with GM and Maintenance Manager
  • Manage contractors on site to ensure they meet legal and company requirements
  • Take responsibility and action
Work Experience

Mechanical, HVAC or Electrical experience minimum 3 years

Computer skills.

Good written and verbal communication skills

Basic H&S awareness

Able to work alone

Able to work from heights

Previous supervisory experience

Ability to use own imitative
