The Role

This is an opportunity for a mid-level or Senior Associate to join a global firm in the Dispute Resolution department, specialising in banking and finance litigation.

The firm has offices across the US, Europe, Asia, Australis, Canada, Africa and the Middle East. The firm's Dispute Resolution department handles high-value, complex international work acting for global corporations.

The firm is looking for an ambitious banking and finance litigation solicitor at mid-senior level with experience acting for financial institutions.

The role involves hangles derivative close-out disputes, interpreting complex banking documentation, agency disputes and corporate service provider disputes, civil fraud disputes, bribery and conspiracy claims, asset tracing and asset recovery, professional negligence and contentious insolvency matters.

Associate experience in contentious banking and finance matters + 5 years experience
Strong academic ability
Interest in undertaking a variety of work for a variety of clients.
Excellent communication, written and presentation skills.
Effective networking ability.
Commercial awareness of client and firm requirements.
Selfmotivation and resourcefulness.
