An opportunity has arisen for a motivated, enthusiastic, reliable health care assistant to join Jasmine Suite.

We have a passionate and dedicated mixture of highly experienced Deaf, Deafened and Hearing staff within our team.


As a Mental Health care assistant you will not only be supporting service users in their most challenging times, but also mentoring them to become the best version of themselves.


You will support and build a positive therapeutic alliance with our service users as well as their carers and family.

To undertake and accurately document observations and nursing care in line with Trust Policy.

To accurately report and feedback any concerns.

To participate in the maintenance of a safe, clean ward environment.


You will need to be proactive in taking the lead in some activities and will be required to assist in the day-to-day care and treatment plans of our patients.

To value diversity and promote equality of opportunity for all and to ensure individuals are treated fairly.

Communication skills and a willingness and motivation to embrace sign language as the service users first language is essential.
