Multi point gluer Setter/Operator
As part of a team of 3, the role is to set and operate a multi-point gluing machine. The machine can glue, straight line, 3 point or 4-point boxes. Previous experience of this type of machine or similar is required, but training on the job can be given.

This need to be done in accordance with our company Health & Safety police and company initiatives and systems for effective manufacturing with minimum wastage throughout the process.

Required skills

Comply with all Health & Safety requirements as detailed in company procedures and take an active role in achieving a zeroharm environment.
Produce work of a high standard by adhering to quality standards to ensure that product is produced to agreed specifications. All quality records must be completed in a timely and accurate manner.
Remain customer focused in your approach to all tasks and operation.
Maintain acceptable housekeeping standards at all times to ensure a safe / clean working environment for all employees.
Ensure the companies hygiene policies are adhered too and maintained at all times.
Demonstrate competence in timely machine set up, minimising downtime / waste and maximising efficiencies by working effectively as part of a team.
Demonstrate ability to operator machinery at the optimum run speeds and striving to surpass targets and be best in class.
Maintain a good working relationship with all colleagues to promote successful teamwork, in an open and honest style with a sense of urgency.
Involvement and participation in team projects and process improvement initiative, ensuring you always ask what more can I do to improve.
Display and willingness to learn and train to gain new skills.
Identification and reporting of engineering issues and working closely together to assist in resolving problems to minimise downtime. Undertake basic operator Maintenance duties in and around machine areas.
Maintain a flexible attitude towards working hours and job role within the factory, be prepared to work a reasonable amount of overtime to cover holiday and sickness periods.
Want to become multiskilled by having the ability to work on several machines in the factory to enable flexibility.
