What is the Role?

SSEN Transmission has an opportunity for a Lead Project Information Officer to play a pivotal role in the management and control of project/business documentation across a wide range of projects.

The key duties & responsibilities in order to support the team of Project Information Officers will include:

Setting clear priorities for the team and individuals, to lead, inspire and develop under a framework of clear performance objectives and expectations.
Support the Information team with daily queries and workload, escalating any nonconformances or issues to the Quality Information Lead where applicable.
Assist with KPI reporting across projects as required, escalating any outstanding deliverables with project teams as necessary.
To be the business expert in SSEN Transmission for document management encompassing business processes and systems.
Serving as a technical expert, you will work with internal and external stakeholders, providing Document Control support for the full lifecycle of projects within load and non load related capital investments.

What do I need?
To be considered for this role, we would love you to have:

Extensive experience within a similar role with a full understanding, awareness and experience of standard document control best practices and processes.
Experience in construction management, engineering, project management, or related technical field or National Level NVQ
Proficiency with spreadsheets and word processing software and experience in the use companystandard document management systems
Ideally a demonstrable understanding of the Energy industry, gained from past experience as well as through social/professional networking is desirable.
