**MAIN PURPOSE OF THE POST
**To liaise with the Service's Resilience & Planning, Operations, Training and other departments as
appropriate to carry out the function of the role.
To maintain an appropriate establishment of Auxiliary Reserve Operational and Control Firefighter
cadres in readiness for Industrial Action or any other requirement.
To support the Auxiliary Reserve during times of Industrial Action/Pandemic/Spate condition, which
will involve extended hours of duty, through providing a key liaison point.
To work with the Station Manager Resilience & Planning and the Joint Fire Control Training Station
Manager to co-ordinate Training and Operational Requirements.
Responsibility for the supervision and the direction of others through supporting HR processes,
acting as a point of contact.
**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
**Principle Duties
- To manage and support the Auxiliary Reserve of South Wales Fire and Rescue Service.
- To provide all necessary administrative and logístical support to the Auxiliary Reserve thereby

recorded by means of PDRpro and BMIS.
- To provide information and reports to the Resilience and Planning Team, Payroll and Human
