We are a non-facing Pharmacy that will require all aspects of dispensing controlled medication, administration duties which include assigning and processing private prescriptions and supporting our patients with any enquiries regarding their prescription.


This is an exciting opportunity to support a growing company, which creates the opportunity to review and refine the company's systems, and processes, requiring a dedicated, passionate individual who can enhance patient experience through excellent attention detail, patient support and compliance.


JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:


  • Assign and process FP10 prescriptions in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Safe and accurate dispensing of private controlled medication.
  • Stock management, including rotation, ordering, disposal, and checks.
  • Updating controlled drug register in line with regulatory requirements
  • Escalating concerns relating to patient prescriptions, while minimising delay to patients
  • Supporting the Pharmacist with their daytoday tasks
  • Support with creating, reviewing, and implementing SOP's (standard operation procedures)
  • Support patients with their prescription queries, via phone, live chats and tickets with a bestinclass service.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including prescription information.
  • Proactively engage with patients regarding their medication where necessary.
  • Ensure that GDPR and GPhC regulations are adhered to at all times.
  • Take responsibility for escalating errors, focusing on always delivering quality and service.
  • Remain up to date with industry and GPhC regulation changes.

JOB SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:


  • NVQ in Pharmacy services essential.
  • Ideally 2 years' experience working within a pharmacy.
  • Experience in medicinal cannabis preferred but not essential.
  • Patient centric, passionate about delivering bestinclass service.
  • Confident working autonomously.
  • Resilient, calm and empathetic.
  • Confident using Microsoft Office and thirdparty software.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to be utilized for both internal and external audiences.
  • Strong organizational and planning skills; able to manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong time management skills.
