Clerk to the Local Governing Body / Governance Officer:

Part time, term time only:

Guildford High School is an academically selective day school for girls, aged 4-18 years, in the heart of Guildford.

The post holder will provide professional guidance and clerking services for the LGB and have knowledge of LGB procedures and educational legislation.

You will have excellent organisational and administrative skills, be self-motivated and confident in communicating confidentially and professionally with LGB members, staff and other stake holders.

The post holder will need to work flexibly around the needs of the School and LGB, with some evening work as required.

This is a part time position, working an average of 11⁄2-2 hours per week during school term.

There may be scope to extend the role to cover LGBs working with other independent schools within United Learning.
