Production Logistics Clerk at our state-of-the-art manufacturing site in Llatrisant, Wales

What' you'll do


The purpose of this job is to arrange the shipment of products, alongside support for the synthetic resin business products were applicable.

This includes dispensing, labelling and packaging where appropriate.

These products are dispatched to customer sites, which include pharmaceutical companies, for lab scale evaluation pilot trials or use in commercial processes.

- facilitate the shipment of multiple product samples and orders to customers on a daily basis.
- liaise and arrange shipments by interaction with various courier companies (e.g. HL, UPS, Fedex).

  • Assist in the preparation of samples/orders by potting product material, labelling (printing and affixing labels), preparing documents (as listed above), and packaging correctly.
  • Liaise with other departments including R&D, QC, QA, Logistics and production teams in order to advance product preparation ready for dispatch.
  • Help maintain the required level of Health and Safety and housekeeping within the sample/order dispatch area.
  • Carry out other duties as and when required as directed by Management.

What you'll need

  • School leaving certificate (GCSE) in Maths, Science and English minimum grade C
  • Some laboratory experience or qualification
  • Chemical background and/or handling of chemicals/materials is desirable.
  • Knowledge and/or experience in logistics/shipping is desirable.
  • Computer literate covering Microsoft Office Applications (competent with Excel,
  • Good attention to detail (with respect to maths, data and English and presentation of product packaging.)
  • Ability to respond quickly to demanding deadlines whilst maintaining high level of quality.
  • High standard of housekeeping.
