POST Recruitment are delighted to be working with a global marketing agency in their search for an SEO Content Executive to join the team in central Leeds.

The team works across integrated and standalone campaigns to research, develop strategies for, execute,and evaluate every type of PR, social media and content activity.

From influencer campaigns, to SEO strategy, to social content, to brand partnerships and beyond.


The Role:

As SEO Executive you will support and advise on effective SEO foundation work for clients.

Specifically, delivering and contributing to topline strategy, keyword research, competitor and gap analysis, link audits and disavow work, on-page optimisation and liaisingwith clients or senior stakeholders on a daily basis.

Your role will also require you to have a view to increasing our service offering in search and growing SEO/PR revenue on current and new accounts.


  • Manage client relationships to ensure things are on track, the client is happy, understand what we can provide, and spot the opportunities to talk about how we can help
  • Monitoring new trends and opportunities for clients
  • Creating great content, by showing a raft of imaginative ideas
  • Planning and creating engaging content
  • Produce engaging copy for a variety of formats and platforms
  • Write for a range of different audiences adhering to deadlines
  • Assist in the writing up of ideas and proposal creation
  • Attend brainstorms and help proactively to come up with new ideas
  • Consider new formats for ideas and new channel selection
  • Monitoring campaigns' results based on KPIs and ensuring reports are provided to clients to deadlines
  • Supporting senior team members to develop creative campaigns, presenting and selling this effectively to clients
  • Supporting team with brief responses to ensure favourable pitching outcomes
  • Supporting senior team with informing others about what the PR, Social & Content team does
  • Supporting the team with administration tasks
  • To be a trusted member of the team and talk passionately and knowledgeably about the effectiveness of the channels we use to people outside of our team
  • Work with the rest of the team to help shape and drive our department strategies and ways to deliver these
  • Be open to being involved in all tasks
  • Prioritise workload and manage multiple briefs and clients simultaneously
  • Working across the agency to further showcase and develop others understanding of the effectiveness of PR, Social & Content campaigns
  • Identifying new business opportunities with existing and future agency clients
  • Build, maintain and develop strong working relationships internally (immediate team in addition to other agency departments) and externally (partners and clients).
  • Act in the best interests of the Agency at all times

Your Experience:


  • 12 months+ experience within an SEO Content focussed role ideally within an agency environment
  • Creativity and imagination skills
  • Basic knowledge of all media channels, including Social
  • Willingness to learn about the constantly evolving area of digital marketing
  • Experience dealing with clients
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interpersonal and listening skills
  • Effective problemsolving skills and ability to understand client needs
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills, including building decks
