This exciting opportunity is designed for doctors to develop experience in Emergency Medicine (EM) whilst pursuing a funded Postgraduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound at the University of Teesside.

Clinical experience afforded aligns to the objectives and curriculum of the Royal College of Emergency Medicine.

Successful applicants will be working alongside the existing tier of EM Junior trainees and would spend 80% of their time working in the Emergency Department and 20% of their time completing the Postgraduate Certificate which provides ultrasound skills in Core Emergency Medicine equivalent to a Level 1 course as well as the opportunity to pursue additional clinical modules such as shock/echo or hepato-bilary/renal ultrasound.
