Reception/Administrator | £27,000- £30,000 (salary depending on experience)
- Permanent | Office Based | Fulltime_
We are looking for a personable and friendly individual to work as a Receptionist/Administrator for our client, a financial firm in the centre, to represent the company as the first point of contact for their guests.
The role includes managing incoming andoutgoing communications and supporting the Office Manager as needed in order to maintain the smooth running of the office.
Main duties and responsibilities:
- Answer phones and transfer calls or take messages
- Direct visitors as needed and provide refreshments, etc
- Maintain switchboard and system phonebook with staff changes
- Maintain fob access system and provide reports as needed
- Sort, datestamp and deliver incoming post and faxes, and frank outgoing post
- Maintain recorded/special delivery book
- Manage generic inbox
- Keep the post room tidy and wellstocked
- Deal with incoming and outgoing courier deliveries
- Book taxis for the team and guests
- Book meeting rooms and assist in arranging supplementary services, such as catering, IT, etc
- Provide tea/coffee/water/biscuits for meetings and ensure rooms are cleared afterwards
- Assist the Office Manager in maintaining the smooth running of the office, as needed
- Assist with admin support for managers and directors, as needed
- Any other duties reasonably requested
Personal Specification:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Able to multitask and manage conflicting priorities
- Polite and articulate phone manner
- Organised, proactive and accurate
- Friendly and helpful willing to go the extra mile
- Good level of IT skills and willingness to learn more
