£32,083 to £35,657 pa including allowance + benefits package + company vehicle with fuel from home to work.

It's a great opportunity for a Maintenance Assistant working in the Leeds Team. Due to the nature of our work you'll live 30 mins travel from Skelton Grange, Leeds, LS10 1RR.

Safety Culture, HV Transmission Substations are inherently hazardous environments, National Grid has extremely high safety standards that team members generally find comfortable working to.

As a Maintenance Assistant, you'll undertake site routines and other duties on plant and equipment to a defined standard, to ensure optimum efficiency and safety.

Day to day - you will drive to various sites in a company vehicle to carry out planned preventative maintenance checks, using an iPad you'll follow instructions for the required planned checks.

Pay and Benefits:

A competitive salary from £30,378 to £33,952 pa + Seasonal working allowance £1,705 per annum.
37 Hours per week Mon Fri, 8am 4pm
Company commercial vehicle & fuel from home to work.

25 days annual leave (increasing to 26 after two years' service) plus 8 statutory days
