Reporting to the Head of Service Management, you will be working within the Service Desk Team providing first line support to a wide range of customers.
Your main place of work will be at home however you will be required to come into the office for training for the first 6 weeks.
This is a weekend only role with some flexi hours required in the week for training.Salary will be discussed at interview and is in line with national guidelines.
Main duties will include but are not restricted to:
- Answering calls to customers
- Provide technical support to a variety of end users
- Creating and updating records
- Assist in the development and improvement of processes and procedures
- Carrying out first line diagnostics and processing the results
- Liaising with senior departments within the company and external third party organisations on behalf of our customers
Essential skills for this role include:
- Good telephone manner
- Excellent organisational skills
- Interest in IT and communications
Desirable skills
- Experience in a customer facing environment
- Basic knowledge of Office 36
- Previous experience as a Service Desk Engineer
