About the Company


Our Client is a modern-day estate agent based in Cardiff with family values and an impressive knowledge of the local sales and lettings property market.


Duties of the Role

  • Responsible for the aged debt ledger/arrears for all businesses and divisions
  • Chasing customer debt communicate with customers to ensure that payment of debts is received in accordance with the prescribed terms
  • Running of Statements run and send out monthly customer statements so that customers are aware of their debt balance
  • Sending out invoices and demands
  • Customer query resolutions.
  • Taking client payments as required via Cardnet
  • Maximise cash collections, to agreed monthly targets
  • Actively contribute to reducing aged debt over 30 days +
  • To identify and escalate potential bad debts at an early stage
  • Process legal action to external legal practice PDC
  • Raise adhoc invoices as required.
  • Understand old unpaid items and unallocated cash balances for monthly reporting
  • Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly management information in relation to debtors
  • Ad hoc support as required by the Finance Team
  • At least 12 months experience working as a Credit Controller
  • A positive and "can do" attitude, and a willingness to embrace new challenges
  • Good IT Skills
