About the Company
Our Client is a modern-day estate agent based in Cardiff with family values and an impressive knowledge of the local sales and lettings property market.
Duties of the Role
- Responsible for the aged debt ledger/arrears for all businesses and divisions
- Chasing customer debt communicate with customers to ensure that payment of debts is received in accordance with the prescribed terms
- Running of Statements run and send out monthly customer statements so that customers are aware of their debt balance
- Sending out invoices and demands
- Customer query resolutions.
- Taking client payments as required via Cardnet
- Maximise cash collections, to agreed monthly targets
- Actively contribute to reducing aged debt over 30 days +
- To identify and escalate potential bad debts at an early stage
- Process legal action to external legal practice PDC
- Raise adhoc invoices as required.
- Understand old unpaid items and unallocated cash balances for monthly reporting
- Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly management information in relation to debtors
- Ad hoc support as required by the Finance Team
- At least 12 months experience working as a Credit Controller
- A positive and "can do" attitude, and a willingness to embrace new challenges
- Good IT Skills
