About the Company

Our Client is a modern-day estate agent based in Cardiff with family values and an impressive knowledge of the local sales and lettings property market.

Duties of the Role

Responsible for the aged debt ledger/arrears for all businesses and divisions
Chasing customer debt communicate with customers to ensure that payment of debts is received in accordance with the prescribed terms
Running of Statements run and send out monthly customer statements so that customers are aware of their debt balance
Sending out invoices and demands
Customer query resolutions.
Taking client payments as required via Cardnet
Maximise cash collections, to agreed monthly targets
Actively contribute to reducing aged debt over 30 days +
To identify and escalate potential bad debts at an early stage
Process legal action to external legal practice PDC
Raise adhoc invoices as required.
Understand old unpaid items and unallocated cash balances for monthly reporting
Assist with the preparation of weekly and monthly management information in relation to debtors
Ad hoc support as required by the Finance Team
At least 12 months experience working as a Credit Controller
A positive and "can do" attitude, and a willingness to embrace new challenges
Good IT Skills
