Medipharmacy group are currently looking for an enthusiastic Pharmacy Assistant to become part of our team in South East London (Camberwell/Elephant & Castle).


Taplow Pharmacy, Unit 5, Ground Floor Taplow, Thurlow Street, SE17 2UQ
**Full time position working Monday to Friday, 08:30am

  • 18:00pm each day.
  • We are an awardwinning independent NHS community pharmacy chain. With over 25 stores across London, our purpose is to ensure excellent patient care whilst delivering specialist clinical services._
  • Both MDS and Repeat dispensing are both automated to enable our Pharmacists more time to lead the dispensary whilst delivering excellent patient care._

Roles and Responsibilities include:


  • To dispense medicines in accordance with prescriptions to supply to patients.
  • Assist the Pharmacist to deliver clinical services
  • Work as part of a team to ensure excellent customer care
  • Ordering stock
  • Liaising with GP Surgeries for prescription queries
  • To follow the company SOPs and adhere to GPhC and MHRA regulations

Learning and Development:


  • Medicine Counter Assistant
  • NVQ Level 2 Dispensing Assistant
  • Accuracy Checking Dispenser
  • NVQ Level 3 Dispensing Technician
  • Accuracy Checking Technician

Job Type:

Full-time


Salary:

£9.50-£13.00 per hour (depending on Pharmacy experience)

  • Monday to Friday

Experience:


  • Pharmacy: 1 year is preferred but welcome applicants with a keen interest in Pharmacy to apply.
