Established in France since 1954, Jean Rousseau is a key player in the manufacturing of leather watch straps for the largest luxurious fine watch brands.

The established brand Jean Rousseau Paris offers its own Collections of straps and small leather goods in its Boutique-Atelier concept located in major cities: Paris, London, New York, Tokyo and Ningbo.

Each boutique has a team of craftsman on site, responding to a highly demanding international clientele, with a passion for luxury articles, fully customizable and handmade.

We are currently looking for a Sales Associate at our Boutique located in the Piccadilly Arcades


Context and main tasks

You will be part of a small and enthusiastic team, different from a typical retail experience: we are handling both retail and wholesale aspect of the business for the UK market.

Within this team, your main tasks will be delivering a first class customer service to our retail and wholesale accounts.

That implies a great number of interactions with our boutique customers but also a growing part of our wholesale's accounts - that would include closely managing the sales process from the initial order or request from potential/existing clients all the way to stock entering and invoicing.

You will also be required to use a computerised till, be responsible of the store inventory, work with the merchandising team on the implementation of new collections and prepare and send some daily reporting.

Desired skills and experience

The successful applicant will have a 'can-do attitude', will be eager to learn, detail oriented and will communicate with passion and professionalism to our customers.

Also working within a small team implies to be flexible, willing to multitask and have a great team spirit.

A good computer understanding (Pack Office) is a must.

Ideally some experience in working with both retail and wholesale industry.

Experience with some account management would be greatly valued.

Previous experience or knowledge about luxury and/or watches will be appreciated.

French language would be a plus but not mandatory.
