Senior Development Chemist - Skincare & Haircare - Somerset
£40,000
My client are currently at a scale up point in their business.

They have worked on some great ideas for products and for the team, they now need someone to come in and push all these plans forward.

They need more structure to be implemented within the teams.

The role will involve developing and implementing these processes to make things run more smoothly for both their customers and the internal teams.

They are looking for and experienced development chemist who will be confident to come into a small company and have a huge impact long term

The Role:

  • Formulation and product development of own brand and customer orders
  • Supporting and managing the development chemists
  • Leading the technical strategy across the business
  • Ensuring compliance is met for all formulations
  • Review and develop new and current existing procedures
  • Deliver products and systems that meet business strategy and brand values

Skills:


  • Minimum 3 years of formulation experience
  • People management experience
  • Scientific degree
  • Essential to have cosmetic/personal care formulation experience
