"I have worked for the single point of access for over 3 years on both the crisis line and part of the administration team and am currently in a leadership role. I knew pretty instantly that would be something I would enjoy and a role I was going to get a sense of achievement from.

The job is extremely rewarding and although challenging at times, there is always someone ready to offer advice and support if needed.

I feel my knowledge of MH challenges has grown and over time I have become very confident in dealing with all crisis situations, whether it be escalating to emergences services or just offering advice and support to individuals and/or their families.

Over my time at SABP, I have taken on 2 leadership roles within the team, both roles enhancing my skills and enabling me to support others.

I can honestly say my roles within SPA have been extremely rewarding and have made me realise that I wouldn't want to work in any other job area other than mental health.

I know that I am potentially making a difference and this is gives me a real sense of achievement which I can honestly say I have never had in my previous roles.

In a nutshell if you want to feel like you are really making a difference to the lives of people and their families who are experiencing difficult times in their life come then come join us"
