We are offering a rare and exciting opportunity to join our Performance team as a Quality Assurance, Inspection & Intelligence Officer within the Strategic Commissioning, Finance & Performance team.

We are looking for a highly motivated, passionate and driven individual to support the Adults department performance, intelligence and inspection functions.

Working across social care to provide high quality performance information and analysis and to support policy direction that leads to continuous improvement.


You will provide support to the Performance & Inspection Manager for Adults services on inspection preparation, and ensuring that data returns and performance information fulfil all accountability requirements of the DHSC, CQC, Elected Members and other appropriate bodies.


You will also be responsible for the development of business intelligence reporting for Adults services, producing high quality reports for a variety of services so they gain a better understanding of performance and intelligence.


Be responsible for the day to day supervision of members of the Performance team, agreeing priorities and ensuring progress is being made against team and individual plans, including the supervision and appraisal of team members, recruitment and selection, identification and where appropriate delivery of training and development in order to manage staffing capacity.
